HV Mental Health & Wellness Center of Highland Village, Texas helps individuals ages 18 months to adulthood deal with mental health and behavioral issues in healthy and effective ways. Individual, family, and group counseling is provided as well as all types of psychological and neuropsychological testing. We treat both children and adults. We have an educational consultant that provides tutoring and educational advocacy for school aged children. In addition, we have an applied behavior analysis (ABA) and early intervention program that help improve skill deficits and decrease behavioral excess of children's behavior and skills in socially significant ways. We specialize in treating children on the autism spectrum, those with behavioral challenges, learning disorders and developmental delays.
Applied Behavior Analysis and Early Intervention Services
We provide high quality 1 on 1 and group therapy services for children on the autism spectrum, at clinic, at home, and for school shadowing services. We help increase skills in the area of language, communication, behavior management, adaptive/life skills, executive functioning skills and more. All ABA treatment plans are created and supervised by licensed behavior analysts and implemented by Registered Behavior Technicians. We currently have no waitlist for ABA and can provide diagnostic services.
Therapy and Counseling Services
We provides quality mental health and counseling services to individuals for a variety of needs, including diagnostic services. We can provide family, group, and individual counseling with our qualified mental health counselors and psychologists.
Clinical Neuropsychological Assessment Services
We provide a wide variety of comprehensive psychological evaluation services, including:
Psychological Assessment:
ADHD testing, developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorder testing, mood related disorders, and more.
Psychoeducational Assessment:
Academic testing, specific learning disorder testing, dyslexia testing, dysgraphia and dyscalculia testing.
Neuropsychological Assessment:
Measuring memory functioning, executive functions, attention, language functioning, sensorimotor functioning, and cognitive processing in relation to neurological or neuropsychological related concerns.
