ADHD Program for Children

ADHD Program
Support from Certified Special Education Teachers
In order to treat ADHD in children, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is effectively integrated into a sensory motor activity for children with ADHD, as the gym's equipment provides a stimulating, physical environment that complements the behavioral strategies of ABA. This combined approach targets the core symptoms of ADHD—inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity—by using movement and sensory input to improve focus and self-regulation.
ADHD Program
How ABA therapy and a sensory gym work together for ADHD
A sensory motor gym enhances ABA therapy by providing a controlled setting for engaging, structured, and fun activities. The principles of ABA are applied in this environment to address specific behavioral goals related to ADHD.
Children have an individualized treatment plan that includes behavioral
interventions, skills training, and neurofeedback sessions to increase attention, reduce impulsivity, and increase the ability to complete assigned tasks, follow directions, and reduce challenging behaviors.
Children attend sessions 3 hours a week to develop improvements in the core symptoms of ADHD.
